About The Canadian Mental Health Association Cariboo Chilcotin Branch (CMHA-CCB) is an innovative, non-profit society that has served the community of Williams Lake and area since the early 1970’s. Story In order to implement our philosophies/beliefs/values, we: Educate and inform; advocate; provide services (supportive and corrective); facilitate, coordinate and collaborate through the programs and services we provide to the community Mission The Canadian Mental Health Association – Cariboo Chilcotin Branch is dedicated to providing programs and services that foster individual growth and promote wellness, leading to the development of strong families and healthy communities Philosophy/Values/Beliefs We believe enabling individuals, groups and the community of Williams Lake to increase control over and to enhance their mental health. We believe in social justice; individual and collective responsibility; access to appropriate and adequate resources and support and that these elements are critical to mental health and a personally satisfying quality of life.
