About CHCFC is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Community Health Center serving the community by providing full primary care Medical and Dental services Story The Community Health Center of Franklin County opened the doors of its medical clinic in Turners Falls in 1997 with the mission to provide excellent medical care to all residents of Franklin County, regardless of insurance status or income. Now in 2017 we have three clinics, one in Orange offering medical and dental services, one in Turners Falls offering dental services, and our newest facility located in Greenfield offering medical services We are a private nonprofit agency overseen by a community Board of Directors. At least 51% of our Board of Directors must be patients of the health center. We have continued to grow over the years, to better serve our patients. We offer the following services- medical, dental, nutrition, substance abuse counseling, community outreach, and Spanish translation. CHCFC Highlights: CHCFC opened in 1997 in Turners Falls 2001 - added dental services 2006 - opened North Quabbin (Orange) site 2011 - opened Greenfield clinic site Who We Serve: The Community Health Center of Franklin County serves everyone. Our practitioners can provide care for everyone in your family, from babies to elders. Most of our patients live in Franklin County or the North Quabbin and we try to meet the needs of each patient by participating in numerous commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Commonwealth Care and MassHealth. We also offer a sliding fee scale program for people without insurance.
