About Our Vision: To Grow Our Community Beyond Hunger Story Since 1983, the Surrey Food Bank has been assisting low income individuals and families who live in Surrey and North Delta by primarily providing bi-weekly food hampers to supplement a client's food needs. All funding comes directly from the community as the food bank does not receive any core government funding. Operations are overseen by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers and supported by an elected Board of Directors
