About The Melfort & District Museum, located in the heart of northeast Saskatchewan, features an extensive history of Pioneer heritage. Story Join our costumed interpreters as you explore our Pioneer Village, Machinery Row, and Temporary Displays as we endeavor to tell the history of Melfort and the surrounding area. Our programs include many special events on and off site throughout the year, and school tours, public tours, and education programs in the summer. Our Pioneer Village is open from June to September. Temporary Displays in the Power House are open year round. Mission "To share our unique heritage and culture and celebrate our living heritage with present and future generations"
