About Research and Development of specialized coatings. Fire retardant coatings, high performance elastomers, polyurea, polyaspartic and advanced materials. Story Quantum's founder, Tony LaGrange, obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry and worked in many areas of the industrial and commercial coatings industry. Quantum was established in 1995, providing products and technical assistance to address environmental and performance requirements to the specialty coatings market. Filled with entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. LaGrange began his business in the basement of his home wherein he was the consultant, research and development chemist, manufacturer, shipper, purchaser, receiver and book keeper. From there, Mr. LaGrange methodically built a team of experts, state-of-the-art R&D and testing laboratory in Riel Business Park, St. Albert, plus an excellent reputation for formulating solvent-free elastomers and fire retardant coatings. We still work just as closely with our clients to provide customized solutions and loyal business partners. Regardless of your company size, we will take the time to understand your concerns, do a feasibility analysis, and realistic project completion dates.
