About Our teachers bring a variety of experience and recognize the differences in individuals and will help you to adapt in order that all students can find a way to work with their bodies in a safe practice. We believe that everyone can do yoga. Story The Yoga House is situated in a beautiful century home in Penetanguishene. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where yoga is accessible and practiced as a way of life. True Yoga is inclusive. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or beginning one’s yoga journey, all are welcome. "The special place that the Yoga House is today was born shortly after the birth of my daughter. As much as I loved being a Mom, I needed a way to manage the demands of an infant. I started teaching and practicing in the basement of a library, and even though the space wasn’t ideal, I knew I had found a sanctuary to nurture myself and others.After 9 years of teaching at various locations mostly basements!, because there wasn’t a local studio in the community, I felt inspired to find a location where myself and other students could come up out of the dark basement into a bright space that felt like home."
