The Jewish Federation of Victoria & Vancouver Island supports and advances the rich fabric of Jewish community life in Victoria and on Vancouver Island.

Mission
The Mission of the Jewish Federation of Victoria and Vancouver Island (JFVVI) is to support and advance the rich fabric of Jewish community life on Vancouver Island, nationally and internationally by raising funds; allocating resources; partnering with other organizations, or sponsoring, community-related events; and maintaining communication with various organizations and individuals concerned with the welfare of the Jewish community locally, in Israel, and internationally.

The Federation is guided by the values of “Tikkun Olam” – “Repair of the World” and by “Klal Yisrael” – The responsibility of each Jew for another.  These values support the following Five Pillars:

1. assisting the vulnerable;

2. strengthening Jewish education and Jewish Identity;

3. supporting Israel;

4. advocating on behalf of the Jewish Community;

5. continuing community development.
