About The best place in the Shuswap to unwind after a long day on the lake. Sourcing locally for sustainable ingredients when possible! Story The ingredients we use in our recipes are raised and harvested by our neighbours and friends, ensuring fresh, great tasting seasonal ingredients for our recipes. We like to know our producers, and encourage our staff and guests to visit them to better understand the work that goes into mindful farming, and why thoughtfully produced food tastes so much better! Our team is proudly taking an active role in our community by sponsoring, hosting and participating in our local farmers’ markets. We even grow most of our herbs and salad greens right in our own backyard. Be sure to wander around our property before you take off on your next adventure! Here at Bahama John’s we celebrate the bounty of the sea, and only support mindful and sustainable fishing practices. We always know where our seafood comes from, how it was harvested, and how far it was transported. We’re confident you’ll taste the difference. Ask us about our ketch of the day! Our seasonal menu offerings are always balanced, fresh and wholesome; mixing in boatloads of flavour while serving you hearty, healthy dishes. We also offer fresh drinks with all-natural sweeteners like pure fruit juice, stevia and agave nectar. We have plenty of exciting options for our gluten-free and vegan friends as well! Creating an environmentally friendly kitchen is of great importance to us. That’s why we only use products that are recyclable, or made from recycled materials. Our composting program ensures that all of our biodegradable waste returns to the dirt from which it came, and our energy-efficient practices and standards are constantly being improved to minimize our use of fossil fuels.
