About Director: Julie Colby Children's Librarian: Michael Eareckson Children's Assistant: Sharon Ellingwood White Assistant Librarian: Kathy Frizzell Story Built in 1928, the original buildiing was erected through the efforts of Iva Hurd Drew and her committee (The Colebrook Academy Alumni were asked to each donate $1.00). The Ingram-Shaw addition was built in 1989, with the help of the Masons. The Colebrook Public Library is a pleasurable community resource. It is a family place where people can find materials whatever their taste. The Library provides for the educational, informational, historical, cultural, and recreational needs of the Colebrook area.
