The gallery has several shows each year which include: local, national and international exhibitions. The guild membership is open to artists in all media: watercolor, acrylic, oil, sculpture, ceramics, woodcarving, as well as photography. Artists can sell their work with a percentage of proceeds shared with the Gallery, which in turn apply the funds to support the Guild's shows and workshops. During the year the Guild holds a variety of workshops and shows. Several of the judged shows attract artists throughout the world. Between scheduled shows, members are invited to exhibit their work so that art is on display and for sale at all times of the year. Membership meetings are held once a month. A popular feature of each meeting is the critique session. Members are encouraged to bring examples of their work to the membership meetings for a constructive evaluation by the group. The Guild membership totals 107, most of whom are residents of Wyoming, but with some out of state. The Guild provides meeting space at a nominal fee to other non-profit civic groups in the city. The Guild also provides, at no cost, art workshops at rest homes and senior citizens centers and provides art on a loan for exhibits at public buildings. Visitors are encouraged to stop at ART 321- Casper Artists' Guild to view and visit the Gift Shop. Many pieces of original art, including cards etc. are offered for sale through the gallery. Mission Casper Artists' Guild, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering art exhibitions and workshops for the education and enjoyment of the citizens of Casper and its surrounding communities. Products The Guild was organized in 1924 as an all volunteer organization, a tradition that continues today even though there is professional staff to guide the organization. It takes the efforts of many people to put on successful shows, workshops, and exhibits and to manage the affairs of the Guild. If you are interested in helping and want to join in the fun, there are many committees and groups working to make sure ART 321 is an exciting experience for everyone. We are open to all individuals interested in the visual arts, and welcome artists of all levels of expertise. Please join us!
