About We support the Tompkins County Public Library and the Finger Lakes Library System with funds raised during our twice-yearly book sales. Our sales are each 3 weekends long, in May and October. Visit our web site http://booksale.org. Story The Fall Sale is over. We'll start taking donations again on Saturday, Nov 11. Mission The Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library fosters a partnership between the organization and the Tompkins County Public Library, other public libraries and library systems serving the county, and the community in order to advocate for and support quality library services for all.
