About Kathok Centre is a Non profit Society offering secular meditation, grief support & the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism on Vancouver Island, B.C. Story The Kathok Buddhist Meditation Centre (Kathok Centre) is a simple Buddhist temple established through the compassion of His Eminence, Lingtrul Rinpoche to benefit Western students. Kathok Centre belongs to the Nyingma tradition. We are continuously working to create a harmonious, peaceful community through the inspiration of the Buddha's teachings. Products We have been privileged to host many great masters such as H.H. Katok Getse Rinpoche, Katok Logah Rinpoche, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, H.E. Gyatrul Rinpoche, Sogan Rinpoche, and Changling Rinpoche. We also offer many other events.
