About Our Resort first opened in 1891. With 14 lake-side cottages on Long Lake, our guests keep coming back year and year. Family and Pet-friendly! Story Acker's Point Resort on beautiful Long Lake has been a favorite vacation spot for families since 1891. The 3-story rustic lodge offers family-style meals by reservation and has a large enclosed porch. Amenities include boat docks, canoes, outboards, paddleboats, rowboats, sailboats, swimming, and fishing. Our grounds include a beach with clean sand for swimming, campfires and children's play area. Most cabin rentals have 2 bedrooms and sleep 4-5 people. Rates range from $370 to $420 per week.
