About Cariboo Keepsakes is a non-profit Co-op, and is run entirely on a volunteer basis by members of the Quesnel Crafter's Society. Story Cariboo Keepsakes is a non-profit Co-op, and is run entirely on a volunteer basis by members of the Quesnel Crafter's Society. Cariboo Keepsakes is always on the lookout for new artisan and craft members. Members pay an annual fee of $30 and receive 65% commission (75% on food related items) on sales of their products. Members may also choose to rent a booth by the month within the store to maximize commission potential. Members that rent booths are asked to work minimum three shifts/days a month. Commission members can increase their commission by 5% for every shift they work in a month up to a maximum of 80%. Currently only commission members in good standing with a minimum membership of one year can apply for a booth - excluding members who are selling pottery! Cariboo Keepsakes offers a large selection of gifts, arts and crafts made by local artists, including photography, knitting, crocheting, jewelry, jam, pickled goods, honey, beeswax and soy candles, felted items, woodwork, handcrafted soaps, pottery, moccasins, mukluks, books, baby gifts, fused and stained glass, ornaments, wool, clothing, art pieces, framed art, souvenirs from Quesnel,, Barkerville and the whole Cariboo, and so much more! Cariboo Keepsakes is always looking for new members.
