After a few relocations and countless expansions, Reid’s has grown to be the largest locally-owned furniture store in north western Ontario. In 1995, Tom retired turning the business over to his sons. At that time, the boys also joined Countrywide, which is a dealer-owned furniture franchise system. The Countywide affiliation allows smaller independent retailers to pool their resources in an effort to meet and exceed the buying power of the big box competitors. Reid’s Countrywide has enjoyed consistent growth thanks to a loyal customer base and an experienced team of dedicated employees.
