About One of the three remaining marine telegraph stations in the world preserved as a museum. Story At one time the station was the US termination point for a marine telegraph line direct from France. The actual equipment used is still in place and some can be demonstrated. Mission Maintain and preserve the historic building, land, and equipment of the French Cable Station in Orleans Massachusetts as a museum for the preservation of historic memorabilia.
