About Friends of the Port Elgin Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Story By joining the Friends of the Library, you are supporting the Port Elgin Branch of the Bruce County Public Library in its mission to enrich the lives of the citizens of Saugeen Shores. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Throughout the year, we have a number of fundraisers and events to improve library facilities and purchase materials to ne enjoyed by all in the community. With the help of our volunteers, we support our community Library and assist in making it a successful, vital part of the community. We know we can do it with your help and support!
