About When you have a craving for the best chicken and fish in Livingston County, then there’s only one place you’re headed: Mary’s Fabulous Chicken & Fish. Story 1981 was a momentous year. Microsoft released the first IBM personal computer, NASA pioneered its first space shuttle launch, and Mary’s Fabulous Chicken & Fish first opened its doors in Howell, Michigan, initiating a legacy of iconic chicken and fish that forever changed the food landscape in Livingston County. Since those days we’ve experienced a shift in ownership, a building remodel, and menu additions, but Mary’s original recipes and preparation methods have and always will remain the same. Time and time again, lifelong customers have returned to savor the same fresh, delicious foods they enjoyed as kids, and we look forward to continuing that tradition in the community we love to serve.
