About A free program in Mills County to support expectant/new moms and their babies. Story The NEST is a program designed to increase the number of women who get early and regular prenatal care so that more babies get a healthy start in life. The NEST provides incentives to help pregnant women make and keep prenatal care appointments. It also teaches expectant/new parents about healthy prenatal and infant care practices. Mission The NEST at Mills County Public Health mission is to implement community programs that aim to promote equity in birth outcomes.
