Located along the Norfolk Southern double mainline we see an average of 97 trains per day and night. Riley's Railhouse is housed in a New York Central Freight Station built in 1914.The building has been restored and updated with modern amenities while carefully preserving the integrity of the original architecture. A New York Central Boxcar has been re-purposed into two separate guest rooms each with private bath. The South Shore & Pennsylvania Cabooses are being re-purposed into guests rooms as well. We are located 3 miles from the Indiana Dunes National Lake Shore for the convenience of those who come to enjoy beautiful Lake Michigan and the surrounding dunes.
