About Strafford Learning Center is a private, non-profit organization offering high quality special education and related supports to 900 students in over thirty school districts throughout the New Hampshire seacoast region and beyond. Story Strafford Learning Center operates four programs approved by the NH Department of Education: Pre-School Education Program John Powers School Charles Ott Academy Rochester Learning Academy Strafford Learning Center also partners with the Rochester School District for the HOPE program and the Dover School District for their high school alternative program. Strafford Learning Center provides related services and supports in the following areas: occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language pathology, vision, hearing, ESOL, assistive technology, dropout prevention and recovery, transition consultation, behavior consultation and nursing consultation. Strafford Learning Center offers a wide array of professional development opportunities.
