About We have fun so its fun to be here! Story You’ll get it when you walk in the door: dish isn’t your ordinary salon. We work hard at being better than everyone else. It’s reflected in every detail, from the environmentally-committed, eco-focused companies whose products we carry to the printer paper made from Manitoba straw. We compost our wet waste, recycle our colour foils – we even recycle the hair we cut. (If you’d like yours for the garden to keep the squirrels from digging, just ask!) We aim above the industry standard in all our choices because dishSALON is committed to products and practices that are good for your hair and good for the planet. We think the environment inside the salon is important, too. It’s comfortable, relaxed, and drama-free. We’re here to have fun, so it’s fun to be here. Our business model is centred around the client and our pricing structure reflects that. You’re not like everybody else and neither is your hair nor the care it requires. So our fees are based on the amount of time and product your hair requires, no one-size-fits-all here.
