About Maritime Hobbies & Crafts is Canada's oldest general hobby shop. We have been in downtown halifax since 1946! Story Please Note Parking spaces assigned to our shop are the first 7 spaces from Grafton street against our building. Parking in any other space may get you a Ticket. "We are Canada's oldest hobby shop.Established in 1946 on the corner of Agricola and Almon Streets in Halifax, Nova Scotia, we have moved to various locations over the years including Granville, Hollis and Barrington Streets. Today we can be found in a historic heritage property on Grafton Street near the corner of Spring Garden Road.Our staff have many decades of experience with the hobby and craft products that we carry. In addition, we offer a wide variety of hobby magazines, manufacturer's catalogues and other literature.We carry many traditional hobby items including games, model trains, plastic model kits, wooden model boats and planes, radio control products, modelling materials, hobby tools, kites, jigsaw puzzles, and more."
