About Durham Music offers both private and semi-private music lessons with teachers able to help students with Royal Conservatory exams and audition preparation. Story At the Durham School of Music both private and semi-private lessons are available in either half or one hour weekly times payable monthly. The teachers of Durham Music are ready to help students with any of their Royal Conservatory practical/theory exam and university/college/theatre audition preparations. There is no limit to the variety of periods and styles of music that these instructors have not already explored including western classical from medieval to contemporary avant-garde, folk of North and South America, Europe and Asia, as well as all popular styles ranging from the early jazz and blues of the 1920s and 30s right up to the latest EDM drum beats. Here is a list of the various instruments that are either currently or have recently been taught at Durham Music: piano, organ, voice, violin, cello, trumpet, trombone, tuba, baritone, saxophone, clarinet, flute, guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, 4 and 5 string banjo, dobro and ukulele.
