About The Crystal Sands Beach Resort is located in Northeastern Michigan near Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron. If you’re planning a trip up north to the east side of Northern Michigan on the Great Lakes, you will find a new, modern, family friendly vacation resort. Story Taylor Cottages were purchased in 2014 by Sam and Nada Bydoun. They renamed the property Crystal Sands Beach Resort, after seeing the pristine clear waters reflect sparkles of light like diamonds brushing against the clean, soft sandy beach. In the fall of 2014, they embarked on a massive renovation project, rebuilding the infrastructure from the water and septic system to the complete renovation of the guest suites and cottages.
