About Our goal is to offer the very best value for antique items associated with life on small farms and homes in southern Wisconsin. Story Van's Antiques first opened in 1960 as the Green Top Vegetable Stand. It was owned and operated by my parents, Jim and Carol Van Dreser. They made the switch from vegetables to antiques in 1977. They operated the business until 2004; the last three of those years in operation with my brother Steve. Roxanne and Jim bought the business in 2004 and officially opened the doors again as Van's Antiques in August of 2008. They have approximately 3,000 square feet of retail space, and all merchandise offered for sale is owned by Van's Antiques.
