"Burntcoat Head Park, site of the highest recorded tides on earth! Home to a historic lighthouse shop & museum open mid-May to mid-October along with short trails and a stairway down to the shoreline, where at low tide twice a day you can explore nearly 1km of exposed ocean floor. Time your visit right to explore the shore at low tide and you can enjoy hours of exploration among tide pools, red cliffs, and our signature Flowerpot Island. Come wearing sturdy footwear and clothes you won't mind getting a little dirty. There are washrooms and picnic tables on site with ample parking, along with RV parking. No overnight stays allowed. Park is accessible after hours at your own risk."
