"Black Ball was born in Taipei City, Taiwan, in 2006. Our claim to fame is our authentic grass jelly, renowned amongst our customers for its exceptional tenderness. In 2019, Black Ball opened its first store in Canada. To date, Black Ball now has five stores in the Great White North which includes 2 in Richmond, 2 in Vancouver, and one in Mississauga.One of Black Ball’s best known products is its “Aiyu,” a Taiwanese dessert that was the recipient of the Gold Award of Taiwan Summer Solstice Dessert in 2013 and the Gold Award of Taiwan’s No. 1 Dessert Certification in 2014.
