"Opened in 1977, the museum tells the story of a town built on cheese, and why Oxford County is the Dairy Capital of Canada. A replica 19th C. factory details the historical methods of making cheese and provides plenty of photo opportunities! You will soon discover why we are the hub of the Oxford Cheese Trail! Also site of the Oxford County Museum School, Sports Hall of Fame, and a Cheese Playground! Locally produced cheeses are sold in the gift shop. The museum is more than just cheese.
