About At On the Rise, we seek to bring our customers a loaf that is as beautiful to behold as it is to taste. Story On the Rise Bakery has been passionate about creating artisan breads in Bozeman since 1997. All of our bread is naturally leavened with a desem starter we lovingly call our Mother. Our starter has been in continuous use for almost 30 years now (it even predates the bakery!). All of the flours and grains for our naturally leavened loaves are Montana grown. We even stone grind our whole grains in-house. At On the Rise, we seek to bring our customers a loaf that is as beautiful to behold as it is to taste.
