Our town is BLUE: The lakes, bay, river, islands, mountains, sky, and the WWU colors. It is our humble home: our ABODE. WHAT: We are creating a small locally-based bar that pays homage to the coastal woodsy charm of our blue abode: Bellingham. We will be providing unique liquor, cocktails that feature local distilleries and house-made ingredients, mocktails, local beer, cider, wine, coffee, tea, light food menu, desserts, TVs, local artwork, games, group runs, and more! WHEN & WHERE: Opening Fall 2017 in Barkley Village WHO: We are Bellingham locals and WWU alumni: Kurt & Katy Hartmaier (a bartender and a nurse) who are passionate about this town and hospitality. In fact, our kiddos are 6th generation Whatcom County residents...those lucky ducks. WHY: Our goal is to make enough profit to give back to local charities, support local businesses, and to provide a fun and relaxing environment for the 21+ crowd to gather.
