About Lord Essex the Steakhouse is a unique dining experience that stands above the rest by committing itself to serving USDA Prime cuts. Story The Lord Essex, has a long and storied history, it was opened 94 years ago by the Kahler family when they built the hotel. It was in the early days the bar for the Elizabethan Room, the hotel's Grand Ballroom. Through the years it has become the premier dining facility, and serves as the flagship restaurant for the Kahler Group of Hotels. The Culinary team is currently lead by Executive Chef Tommie Tran and Duc Le. Through the Lord Essex’s menu, which changes constantly, the restaurant commits itself to serving USDA Prime cuts with the finest quality ingredients.
