Story The Local Coffee and Tea opened November 6th, 2012 just around the corner from it’s sister shop, The Slow Train Cafe. Although it’s the newer of the siblings businesses, the Local has developed into it’s own between the intimate, relaxed atmosphere to the pourover bar offering Cleveland coffee from Rising Star Roaster, duck-rabbit, Six Shooter, and City Roast. When it comes to food, baked goods are made in house fresh every morning. We also offer scones from Olof’s Daughter who has been baking delicious goods in Olmsted Falls for years. The delicious bagels come from Bialy’s located on the East Side of Cleveland.
