About We carry more than 90 flavors of gourmet salt water taffy and a great assortment of old fashioned candies! Story Remember the days of penny candy, the old general store and when the cost of gasoline was only 23 cents a gallon? Unfortunately, the cost of penny candy is no longer a penny and none of us will ever understand the cost of gasoline, but the look and feel of an old fashioned general store does still exist at the Taffy Barrel.
