Carsten, along with his wife Dagmar, also started and ran the Edmonton Gymnastics Club for 34 years — making it a natural progression to move into the fitness equipment business. In 1996, their daughter Britt Carlsen and her husband Craig Standen bought the business, where their son Kieran also works.
