About Are you struggling to find answers? Let me help you find your own personal ah-ha moment! Story ah-ha! Counselling & Consulting offers individual, couple & family counselling specializing in addictions & compulsive behaviours, sexuality & relationships, and change & balance in life. Clients can schedule in-person sessions during regular office hours, or arrange Skype, FaceTime or telephone sessions throughout the week. A free 20 minute telephone consultation is available for new clients, to see if it might be a good fit for the client. In addition to being a Registered Social Worker in BC, Al Zwiers has extensive training and experience in working within the Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans* and 2-Spirit communities. Al holds a Master of Social Work degree and an additional Substance Use Certificate, and has pursued further training in cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness-based therapy. Al also teaches on issues of diversity in the counselling field, and provides clinical supervision to other counselling professionals.
