Edie's is always a welcome sight. Classic diner with simple selections done well. Pancakes the size of the moon, served with warm maple syrup and real butter. Omelettes are always good. It's in need of a face lift for sure, but you love to see all the original architecture and designs, even in its age-worn state. There's more history here than you can even take in, and undoubtedly there are some of the original regulars or their children, or even grandchildren, that come to support this small town gem as patrons. I will say, the prices are a little high for what you would expect, at least for me coming from out of town. And I don't believe there is an ADA accessible bathroom on the main floor. This hasn't been a deterrent for me, but you may want to plan accordingly. Also, plan to take your time. The food takes a little while. But rest assured, you'll probably enjoy it, especially in good company. They are cash or check only, like many small businesses in little towns can be, so have your check book handy or shoot over to an ATM before visiting. All in all, it's lovely. It's charming. It's warm. It's classic. Worth at least one visit if you are in the five lakes area!

This was the best small town cafe I've been at for a long time. Had a 1 egg omelet and it was perfectly made
