I've been coming to this fitness club for over 13 years. It was really good before but it is even better now with all the recent renovations and new equipment. The facility is spacious and clean in both gym area and in the change/shower room. This gym has several good personal trainers. I recently needed a boost to get out of an exercise rut and so I selected to train with one of their best trainer, Jesse Ens. He selected volume circuit exercises to helped me getting leaner and introduced new ways to train my muscles. His training was effective and has helped me.
I love that group fitness classes are included with my membership, the renovations are stunning, the outdoor pool is a real bonus, and the towel and toiletries in the shower rooms are a luxury. I’m enjoying all of the perks, the cleanliness of the facility and the level of customer service from every employee. I used to belong to another gym and got tired of having to endure dirty spaces, a lack of amenities and being treated like a second class citizen. I’m so happy I joined!
Played in the newest golf simulator and it was awesome. Have played numerous types of simulators and this one at Edgemont Athletic is the best I've played to date. Was my first time in the facility too, and it is quite impressive. Stopped by their lounge after our game and had top notch service, which of course always improves any review. Great overall experience!
I have been a member for two weeks. I am totally happy for my decision. The group classes are great. Thank you Scott, Liz and everyone. The front desk gals are so great and helpful. The gym is so clean and amazing.
A beautiful facility with super friendly and welcoming staff! Plenty of space and equipment in the weight room, big floor to ceiling windows, and lots of cardio equipment. Perhaps I've just missed seeing it, but there aren't any exercise balls in the weight room yet, which would be nice to have for core and stability exercises. The change rooms are lovely with complimentary towels, great lockers and showers. I haven't used the pool, tennis courts, squash courts, yoga, or spin bike classes, but all of those are included in the membership cost which is awesome for anyone looking for those things as well! The only thing I would change is that the body wash/shampoo/conditioner have a strong synthetic perfume in them. It's wonderful to have the convenience of complimentary products, and it would be lovely to have an unscented option for those sensitive/allergic to synthetic perfumes.
The gym facility is very nice and newly renovated. They are still completing some renovating. The locker rooms are great and offer use of hair dryers and shampoo which is nice. The gym has all the equipment you need. They also have a womens only section which is great.
The yin yoga class I went to was delightful and the instruction was very good. I also find the staff at Edgemont Athletic to be so helpful and friendly! Shoutout to Jaclyn working at the reception desk and to Adam who helped get me set up with my 5 visits for $25. I am planning to become a member of this health club soon. Would highly recommend it to others. Also, love that towel service is included such a great service and so useful. This club has great value for what amenities/ classes that it offers. It beats Good Life fitness by a mile in my opinion.
Great facility with plenty of new weight-training and aerobic equipment. Plenty of Yoga and exercise classes. High ceiling with plenty of sunlight. Outdoor pool is newly renovated. Nice cafeteria to hang out with good quality food. Plenty of parking. Everything is functional.
My partner and I started working out at Edgemont Athletic this spring and we were very happy to get the Welcome deal! My adult daughter has also recently joined the club. Once the renos are done the club will be like an executive club. Since joining I've been working out with Jesse as my personal trainer my partner also trains with Jesse. He is awesome - extremely knowledgeable, pushes me out of my comfort zone but not too much and is generally a nice and caring human. He makes the experience fun and rewarding, and is a big reason that I keep coming back. I also enjoy the yoga classes and am hoping to make use of the squash courts as well. Thank you Edgemont Athletic!
I've been coming to this facility since 2011. I am very impressed with the renovations that have been underway recently at Edgemont Athletic. The classes are fantastic! I feel fortunate to have such a great gym so close to home.
