I have been going to Edgemont dental for several years now and have nothing negative to say. I am 32 years old and have had a lot of dental work in my life with different offices so I believe my assessment of this business is fair, credible, and unbiased. Dr. Varda is personable, competent, and honest. He is also very gentle when he is working on my teeth and when applying the local anesthetic (Which is typically very uncomfortable). He will always take as much time as you need to discuss your case. The dental hygienist always does a perfect job and is very meticulous. And finally, the receptionist is extremely pleasant and professional. There is never any negative attitude or energy from her or anyone else at this office. I always use yelp but never take the time to write a review but I really felt this place deserved recognition. It's local business with local staff and doesn't give off that large cold corporate vibe that some offices do.

So I hadn't been to the dentist in four years... easy to say I was nervous. I came to Edgemont Dental Care under recommendation of a friend and even though I live in the West End decided to give it a shot. Was I ever impressed. Every single staff member was polite and genuine and even had me naturally laughing! I was at ease instantly. Something else I noted was how much they all shared with me about my own teeth. This may seem silly, but I have been to plenty of dentists before where they explain nothing of the procedures or what all their lingo really means. I left feeling very relaxed and knowledgeable of what they had done and what I should keep doing. I would 100% recommend any one I know and in fact have already sent out some texts to friends about how painless my cleaning was and enjoyable my experience was. Thanks to the entire Edgemont Dental Care team!

Edgemont Dental Care is a great place to get your teeth done! I have never been fond of dental offices, mostly because of the needles (they scare me), but Dr. Robert Varda and his team helped me to remain calm during all of my dental work. I now enjoy going to the dentist office, the staff are very friendly and always remember my face when I come in. They do not rush or simply just do the work, they take their time to pay attention to the details. They explain everything to you as they are going through the processes. I learned more about my teeth in 30 mins, then I have in 20 years. Dr. Varda managed to fix problems with my teeth that other offices either created or said were not problems. Although I live in Surrey, I make the commute to go to Edgemont Dental Care, because overall, it is a great place to go and I would recommend it to anyone!
