Echo Place Family Restaurant

This place is good. The ladies working here are so sweet and the food is delicious. I’m usually very picky about my potatoes cause most places it’s still raw but this is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s reasonably priced and I like the fact I can choose how many eggs I want. If you’re in Brantford or around this area I recommend coming here. Their kitchen closes at 1:45pm! So order before then! Next time I come I’m going to try their waffles!

One of the best breakfasts ever! I was so glad to see them reopen. My partner and I love coming here, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the food is not only delicious but great prices with great portions. 10/10 every time! The eggs benny is my favorite, no idea what the other review was on about. The sauce is great and more than enough comes with the dish. Eggs were perfectly cooked, large portions of ham on top of a nicely toasted English muffin. And oh boy, those homefries!! We will be coming back here for years to come! Breakfast was very good as it has been over the last few times we have been here. The crowds of people coming here seems to be increasing. We could hardly find a table as it was waiting room but they managed to squeeze us in. Our server, Laura provided excellent service to us. There was some good conversation and recommendations on what to pick from the menu.

The service was great and felt very homey. The food is always delicious. Was in and out in an hour. You can seat yourself and have to pay at the cash once you're doneFood: 4/5

Neighbour and I went for morning breakfast / lunch. Staff both ladies were found to be very friendly and hospitable. The server was Darlene. The other server was Laura. Darlene immediately provided drinks for the both of us coffee and ice water. My neighbour ordered breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs over easy, home fries, bacon, brown beans and brown bread. He enjoyed his meal very much. I ordered their hamburger with all the fixings which was also very good. There were a number of people coming in. Seemed very busy place to enjoy a meal. A couple of large tables full of people. Good place to go for a nice meal and friendly service.

Worst eggs benny I've ever had. Put hardly any sauce or meat on even when you have to pay $2 extra for peameal - like they dip the top of the poached eggs in some tasteless hollandaise sauce and the english muffins were bare and untoasted. When I asked for more sauce as the amount of sauce on the food was not reasonable I was not notified by the waitress there would be an extra charge. $3.50 to be exact. FOR SAUCE that should have been on the food to begin with? When I advised I shouldn't have to pay for this at the register my concerns were ignored. Sure enough they have a picture of their eggs benny behind the register. I said "there's a lot more sauce on the meal in that picture" to which the waitress' response was "that's an old picture"... are you kidding me? If you are not going to serve food that is represented in the pictures you post... take them down. Avoid this place at all costs, not because of their poor quality food that they cheap out on but because of their atrocious problem resolution with paying customers and their untrained staff.

The food was good. Staff was very nice. Place was extremely busy. I definitely go back.

Edit March 2019 - they've raised all their prices by a few dollars a meal. It's a lot for a price hike, usually businesses do it more gradually. I'm giving them five stars because they have real waffles. The waffles are delicious! I also had a omelette that was good. The food was tasty. The portions were fair. The restaurant is clean. It's a very casual place. The decor is dated and could use a brush up. But it's a breakfast/lunch place where you'll spend $10 a person....so I don't judge the decor. Service is good, waitresses are friendly and efficient.

As you know my partner loves steak and eggs. Done to perfection. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette. Huge order. Home fries were great. Added onions .....mmmmmmm. one of those ol' fashioned family restaurants.Food: 5/5
