I highly recommend this school for doing your CELTA certificate. They were very professional and organized with lots of resources including a website and ways for the training teachers to connect with each other and rehearse. This was all so helpful for the training teachers along the way. The tutors were amazing. They were so knowledgeable and left great feedback after every lesson. I did the part-time course online, and I would say it was more intensive than I thought it would be, but still manageable. You get to practice teaching actual students lots from Brazil, and it helps you feel confident going into teaching after the course. I had a tragedy happen in my family, and the tutors were so understanding, gave an extension on my assignment and checked in with me regularly. I have only good things to say!!
I took a one-week Business English course at EC Toronto in 2019, and it still benefits me today. The experience boosted my confidence in international work environments and helped improve my communication skills. I also met amazing people from around the world, some of whom I’m still in touch with. Highly recommend EC Toronto for anyone looking to enhance their English in a professional setting!
The school is good. The problem is that in three weeks I had five different teachers, it is very difficult to improve like that. The issue of the residence is shameful, I paid the same as the people who were in Parker and Hoem, good residences, and they sent me to Sherbourne, some dirty and horrible apartments, paying the same which is shameful. I would not repeat and I cant recommend it because of the organization and the residence.
Best experience and the most wonderful teachers! Thank you for the unforgettable memories! I feel that I could really brush up my English and the teacher knew exactly how and what to improve. Overall it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and the people played a huge part in that.
Great school for people that want to learn English. Close to the subway or bus stop. Class starts a little early, 8:15 and if you are not inside the class by this time you are late. You will be able to enter at 8:30 or just at 10 if you arrive later than 8:30.nCheck your schedule and classes subjects on your student portal. Have a great time and ALWAYS SPEAK ENGLISH. If your friends speaks in their original language, reply in English. What are you here for?nnThere is a coffee shop at the entrance of the building with a marvellous French Vanilla, one of the best in town for me.nThere are 2 companies that takes students to trips around Canada and the USA. Take at least one! Enjoy your time and keep on speaking English!
