I got a brand new game sealed from that store as gift for my son with an identifying label of it but I didn't have the gift receipt. I went to the store the day after and a rude manager he didn't even look me in the eyes said he couldn't trade for a full refund of 75$ but only buy back for 30$, which is ridiculous. Stores who don't know how to value a customer should close the doors. My son was so disappointed and I'll never put my feet back there. Jeff Bezos once said "I don't sell products, this everybody does. I sell service." Amazon Prime all the way now. Free delivery, same price and hassle free return.
This store always goes above and beyond for exceptional client experience. I rarely have had the same experience as I have at this location. If they don't have stock they get it! And if it's not right they do their best to make it right!
The Staff there is AH-MAZING!! Abby and Grant are always so accommodating and welcoming. They definitely take care of their regular clients :- 2 Thumbs WAYYY up.
I was utterly baffled with what I experienced in this store today. I walked in and purchased a brand new game totalled over $100, and the employee at the desk opened the packaging. What is the point of getting a new product if you’re going to open it before giving it to me? It was extremely bizarre. I highly recommend you visit another location instead of coming here to avoid anything like this.
I love GameStop but man some locations are just awful and Burlington mall is one of them. It would be really nice if managers and employees were a little more helpful and welcoming. Very condescending when I had a few questions about a couple things and just generally seemed completely uninterested in speaking to me. Such a shame as it’s really one of the last video game stores around. Back to online purchases and sales for the majority of my purchases and GameStop will be my absolute last resort.
Service at this store has gone completely downhill, it's like after covid people there stopped caring about selling actual games, if you don't like your job just quit. I constantly have problems with games I purchase here, this was the last time, I pre ordered a game and it didn't come with a code. I went back and asked her and she said "it's in the case" very evasively. It wasn't. Not to mention she didn't ask to protect the purchase, which is standard practice. I will be ordering elsewhere from now on.
Store had more space for toys on display than video games, and hard to find anything for previous gen consoles. Clean store with good staff though.
Terrible customer service! I tried to return a defective product to this location just a few days after I received it for Christmas and was completely stonewalled by a manager. The younger employee seemed willing to help me, until they discovered I was MISSING ONE SINGLE PIECE OF CARDBOARD from the packaging. I still had the tags attached, gift receipt in-hand, the product was brand new and was even still for sale on their shelves. The senior employee kept telling me they couldn't resell it without "all the packaging". I responded that this product is defective and needs to be returned to the manufacturer and should not be resold! I was met with a blank stare and was repeatedly told there was nothing he could do. I felt like I was speaking to a robot. This was especially appalling as I am both a father and collector who had just spent a ton of money on Christmas gifts at Gamestop in recent weeks. As I walked out of this location with my defective Christmas gift, I vowed to never spend another cent at Gamestop and to take my business to one of their competitors. On my way home from work I decided to try my luck at another Gamestop location. I wasn't very optimistic as I had been previously told, over and over, that their policy requires me to have this little piece of cardboard. The second store I visited immediately noticed the cardboard strip was missing, AND STILL ACCEPTED THE RETURN. They didn't know me at this location. All they knew was that I was an unsatisfied customer and THEY HELPED ME. This further illustrates how heartless the gentleman working at this location at noon on Friday December 30th, 2022 actually is. He offered no avenue of resolution and I was given no chance to appeal his decision. I discussed my dissatisfaction with co-workers of mine and they were also disgusted. This location is closest to our workplace, but many of us have now decided that we will be shoppping elsewhere for our electronic gaming needs.
Glad burlington mall has this in it. Best mall store service. Knowledge and service. Plus the don't hound you to death.
This is probably the friendliest branch of GameStop/EB Games I've ever been to. I preordered a game a few weeks ago, and it was ready to go with its preorder bonus when I went to pick it up. Grant and Abby were really friendly and helpful apologies if I got their names wrong, and even gave me a leftover promotional item once they found out I was a big fan of the game. :
