Eats 23 Pinoy Bistro

I found Eats 23 Bistro on Facebook Marketplace and contacted Babes the owner to inquire about their services. We were in constant communication up until the day before the event and had agreed to: 1. Freshly prepared Filipino food for 100 guests 2. Setup of the buffet table including chafing dishes, cutlery, plates, and napkins added cost of $250 3. Timely pickup and cleanup of the buffet area added cost of $75 What I got was: 1. Cold food to serve to 100 guests 2. Caterers who arrived an hour earlier than the expected time to setup the buffet 3. Cleaners who showed up almost an hour later than the expected time resulting in an added expense of $100 from the venue Quite frankly it was an embarrassment to serve my guests the food from Eats 23 Bistro. The caterers chose not to utilize the warming kitchen that was made available to them resulting in cold and soggy lumpia and fish as well as really tough meat skewers. Due to their inability to follow instructions on the timing of my event, the food sat in their trays for close to THREE hours and the chafing dishes were incapable of salavaging the dishes mind you, only one fuel cell was used for each chafing dish when two are required, and of course the obvious, adding water. And if that weren’t bad enough, we ran out of cutlery, plates and napkins. If I’m going to spend thousands of dollars on food from your business, all I ask is that you prepare good quality food, come prepared with extra items, and follow the agreed upon timeline.It's very unfortunate because if the food was actually warm and pleasant to eat, the experience would have been a good one. Don’t call yourself a caterer if you cannot commit to these simple tasks. Don’t over promise and under deliver. I will NOT recommend Eats 23 Bistro to family or friends and highly suggest that if my expectations for a catering service seem reasonable to you that you take your business elsewhere. You will be just as disappointed as me and my guests were.

I was a guest at a party Eats 23 catered for and was very much impressed with the quality and flavour of their dishes, as well as the presentation. The guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was, and everyone wanted to take home leftovers as the portions were generous. I will definitely ask Eats 23 to cater my next gathering and recommend it to everyone who is interested in having a terrific way to impress clients, family or friends with a great Filipino culinary experience. The team behind Eats truly does an amazing job!

I was a guest at a party catered by eats 23. I was impressed by the presentation. Unfortunately, the shrimp and fish dishes were not fresh at all. The texture of fish and shrimp were not firm at and were very mushy. Usually at parties, the shrimp and fish dishes are the first to be eaten with no leftovers. At this party, fellow guests did not eat the seafood . At the end of the party, host was left with a full trays of uneaten seafood.

First time using their catering service was better than expected. The food is delicious and generous serving size. Very professional and check all the boxes from delivery to pickup of the chaffing dishes. Overall very happy with the quality of food and service. Our guests were impressed as well. For sure, we will order again in our next big event. 5 stars all around.

It was a great experience having Eats 23 handle the food and set up. It gave us time to focus on other important stuff of the event. All it took was mutual respect that their staff be allowed to operate the table while we made sure the guests dine in just in time to ensure food stays warm. The little leftover that was there still tastes superb. The staffs were courteous. The management were very flexible and always have the success of the event in their mind. Sherwynn in particular even went the extra mile for us and a lot of our guests. Would highly recommend Eats 23 to all my friends. Already booked our next event with them.

I booked with this resto months in advance for my son's birthday last week. I only found out about them through a friend who was a repeat customer. I heard good feedback, so I ended up trying and ordering from them. 2days prior, I saw reviews about their seafood. I was a bit doubtful so I spoke with my wife and told her to change the sweet & sour fish to beef instead Pares. Now based on our experience. - They were a little early than the expected set up time. Their reasoning is that things happen sometimes that if they're late, they might cause delay of the event. - Presentation is good. Not super great but decent enough to hold a presentable party for your friends and guests. - Food was surprisingly good. Especially their Caldereta, Kare Kare distinct taste of peanut butter which everyone loved. Also dinakdakan and Beef Pares. Were hit. We don't usually see those normally in common Filipino restos. So decision to change the fish was the right thing to do. To be safe Buttered shrimp was also okay but guests I guess are not patient enough to peel on these kinds of occasions. So lesson learned there. Order food that is easy to eat at parties. Overall we were very happy and satisfied with the food and service. Some friends actually asked for their number. Definitely I recommend them and will be ordering from them in the future.

I found Eats23 Bistro in FB marketplace, and from the presentation to communication, i can say that I didn't make mistake at all! The foods are just delicious, the delivery just right on time, the price is reasonable and my overall experience is just amazing! Thank you and looking forward for more business with you I'm always happy because you make special occasion an extra special indeed!

Very accommodating and friendly staff! Yummy food. The Thanksgiving platter was worth it with its taste and affordability. Lechon belly is a blast! Plus the package if chicken skin is so good!

Best Beef Caldereta in town! My family really love this dish..I always order for take out almost everyday. I tried their Beef Pares too and it was also soooo good.. I highly recommend
