East Side Marios

We love East Side's but this last visit wasn't their best performance. We waited 35 minutes for our main course and, after a group of over 20 people arrived, the server seemed to be focused more on them than on us. The food was good though, so hopefully next time will be an improvement. Kid-friendliness: The kids drinks are pretty sugary but very tasty!

I only give a 4 as the temperature was uncomfortable as the air conditioning was not on. The food was fabulous. Did not have to wait long for our meals. Our server David did an excellent job for only being on the job for 5 days. He made sure we always had drinks and bread. I give 5 as it was busy. Thank you for the great meals.

I am giving this horrible location one star. The only reason it gets a star is because Jewel our server was the star of the night. Where do I start, the place was filthy! Tables were not cleared. When we sat down at our table there was no plates or silverware. The food was absolutely disgusting so much so that as you can see my son's Chicken Parm was NOT COOKED it was burnt on the outside and cold and pink on the inside. My cappelletti was dried out and bland no flavor. My husband's seafood pasta was horrible the clams were so dried out and the scallops tasted frozen and were so tiny. The prices for this horrible food was downright gouged and not doable for a family anymore. I also got charged extra for the bacon in my all you can eat Ceasar salad. I definitely would not recommend this location to anyone.

Shannon was the best waiter so kind and has really good humour. Really good service would definitely recommend coming here! Kid-friendliness: So kind to the you ones great spirit love her!

I visited this evening with a group of 6 friends and Shannon served us. The food was delicious, but what really made the night amazing was the incredible service that Shannon provided. She was bubbly, funny, and was always there to meet our needs sometimes even before we knew we needed things. This was honestly the best restaurant experience I’ve had an a very long time, and I’ll definitely be back soon especially if Shannon is working. Thanks again!

My friend and I had a wonderful evening out and a fantastic dinner. Our server Jen was friendly, anticipated needs and was quick. We had other staff also check in with us to see if they could get us anything. The food was delicious! It was an experience I will think of when someone suggests East Side Mario, again. Jen was wonderful!

We were on our way back from a busy weekend we popped into the Oshawa location. I believe our waitress name was Shannon, she had orange/red hair, and all 6 of us let her know that she is by far the best waitress we have ever had. This is saying a lot as we eat out a few times a week. I wish we had this service everywhere we go. As a GM of a business, if she was closer to our home, I would have tried to recruit her. She shows she is there to truly please the customer! Hats off to amazing service

Always a fun place to celebrate or dine with kids. Kids menu is excellent with lots of choices and extras. The "fun" drinks on the kids menu is a bonus, not that expensive. Wife an I shared a pizza salad. Perfect for the two of us. We will go again for sure.Food: 3/5

We had a very negative experience last night when we went for my son's birthday. Which was surprising as we have never had any issues I'm the past. It started when I called in the afternoon to make a reservation and was told that it was not needed. Then when we arrived at 6:05pm the restaurant was packed. We didn't get seated until 6:12pm and had to specify tell the staff that we needed a highchair/booster seat for my 2 year's old son. No server came to offer us a menu or to see if we wanted to order something to drink. At 6:30pm we asked to speak to the manager as several waiters had passed by our table and did not acknowledge us. The manager came a few minutes later and we told her that we didn't have a menu and no staff had come to our table yet. She indicated that we must have been missed as we didn't have a menu on our table. Our waiter finally came to introduce himself and brought us menus at 6:35pm. We ordered our appetizer at 6:40pm and received our bread one loaf for 3 people and water/pop at 6:45pm. The waiter came back at 7pm to take our order for the main meal. We received our appetizer at 7:10pm as well as our second loaf of bread. We received our main at 7:25am but the cesar salad that my husband had ordered with the main never came. We observed people who came in us after receiving drinks and bread more than one loaf while we were still waiting to receive our menu and meet our waiter. Who had gone to greet the people at that table. Overall this was a very negative experience and we regret choosing this location to celebrate our son's birthday.

Food was great! The service was good, I feel like some of the staff were pretty new and wasn't sure about the menu. I had a few questions but it was answered with "I'm new, I'm not sure" I appreciate the honesty. Overall everything went well.
