I judged this place by the reviews n I was hesitant to go at the first place. However I took a chance to understand that I would have missed good food n drinks n most of all pleasant service. Our waiter Derek was really sweet n accommodated all our needs and recommended the best drinks n food. Everything was delicious n we were pleased by the service: please don’t go by the reviews of this place- it’s really worth the try: thanks again Derik:
They have variety of food choices from pasta,to pizza ,salad et cetera. I took the penne saucisses .Spicy but very good.dessert is good as well and service was excellent. Not our first time to go but my first time to review. Highly reccomended And will go back again.Food: 4/5
We ordered ayce soup and salad and the waitress brought out our soups quickly which was great but then brought out main entree right away also. I was eating my hot soup and by the time I ate my entree, it was cold. Super disappointing! The tomato soup was delicious but since my entree was cold, I didn't really enjoy it. I ordered the seafood linguine. My husband ordered chicken Parm and really enjoyed it. My kids ordered they're chiller drinks which lol fun but are a huge waste of money. The cotton candy one just tastes like water. The kids meal portions are very small too. Usually when we order spaghetti at a restaurant, the kids can't finish it but my kids finished their meals and were still hungry afterwards! We found the bread loaves to very small as well compared to the ones we've gotten at other east side Mario's. I think my food would've been better if it was served to me after I ate my soup! Overall, we were pretty disappointed in the food and service.
Great food. I love the bread they give you for free. Very tasty. Good variety in their menu. Vegan, vegetarian and spicy lovers are pleased here.Food: 5/5
A nice welcome place just next to the ski bromont. The food is well cooked. Medium size of portion. It's nice to give a little toy with the kids menu. A happy lunch experience.
They were obviously understaffed. Monday night but maybe they didn't know it was March break in Ontario. Even with slow service I would give at least a 4. But there must have been an equipment issues because the restaurant was filled with smoke the entire time. Still not the end of the world. But as we sat in the smoke filled dining room with our slow service, we listened to someone in the kitchen having a bad day. Pans and dishes were being slammed around. It was obvious someone was not having a good shift and was doing this on purpose. I was surprised to not see a manager at all. Maybe there was no manager on a Monday night. If there was a manager you would think they would have at minimum done something about whomever was slamming dishes around in the kitchen. Food was ok though. Order it to go!!
My family used to love this restaurant. Our waiter was excellent but the food not soo much. They microwave the bread now. Salad was lacking dressing and the pasta undercooked and minimal sauce. I felt soo ripped off. Maybee this location has a untrained kitchen staff or they just don't care. I believe that customers should feel satisfied when they go out to eat not fell ripped off and angry. Maybee we aren't supposed to feel like that anymore. Anyways you guys just lost another cusomer for life. Thank you...
It had been a while since we had dined at Eastside Mario. Quiet honestly, we were disappointed. We ordered the fried Calamari as a side. They were over cooked and tasteless. My wife ordered Seafood linguine. It was missing flavour, there were unopened mussels in it. I was underwhelms by my chicken parm sandwich. Also, there was a waiter who unknowingly spilled a long stream of Alfredo sauce on the floor and chairs. It’s was poorly cleaned up and at least one waitress slipped on it. It will be a while before we return. Btw, I’m a very forgiving diner, and I never write negative reviews.
Excellent friendly service, and quick too ! The food was great and the drinks were delicious. Will definitely return in the future!! We sat at the bar for drinks and an appetizer and took our meal to go. Everything was delicious and the order came exactly how we ordered. Staff were amazing !!!
First and last time I visit. Went there with my family. Waitress was kind and fast. The place was full with flies, dirty all over, the floor was at times sticky at times greasy. Restrooms were discussing. My wife and I ordered the same, but both plates looked way different. Mine had old dry spaghetti, hers new fresh spaghetti. Mine a giant over fried chicken, hers a small one. Apparently standards don't exist. I just wanted to pay the bill and get out. 30 min after finishing we were not feeling good. Sad experience.
