Great experience. The service was great and we didn’t have to wait for very long to be served. Much appreciated this. The food was delicious and just enough for a great meal. Good place for a low cost meal if you like pasta. Wedding soup and pasta was quite good. The mozzarella sticks were great but avoid the calamari appetizer it taste like last weeks rubber chicken. Good food but not great. Very good service from the wait staff.

For vegetarians in Canada, there are barely any Italian restaurants with food other than salads, pizza, and garlic bread that you can eat. However, East Side Mario's is an amazing restaurant and I definitely recommend going there, lunch or dinner! This is why. First of all, the ambience is amazing. The bathrooms are clean, the restaurant is clean, the plates, cutlery and cups are properly washed. The theme is bright and friendly which attracts a lot of families with children. The food is delish!! There are many vegetarian options, but I do wish there were more. I don't recommend over ordering because it can get super filling and you'll miss the chance to eat the scrumptious Caramel Brownie!! The perfect appetizer is soup. It will not fill your stomach a lot. The kind staff will offer a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese on all your non dessert dishes. The Pesto Penne is a MUST, especially if you're vegetarian! We were so hungry, as soon as the food arrived, I forgot to take photos, so all you can see is the complimentary garlic bread, which you can ask for again for free! Lastly, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our server was a wonderful person named Hunter who never resisted to attend to our needs, just like all the other incredible staff members. East Side Mario's is overall a wonderful restaurant which deserved 5/5 stars!

The "Italian" food is very americanised, but the prices are reasonable, the portion sizes decent and the service friendly. In my book, 3 is OK; not fantastic but not bad either. Far from Michelin potential but fine for a family night out. Good value for money.Food: 3/5

It was in my list as I like to explore Italian restaurants and when my friend told me about this place I was planning to go and check... Ambience was nice and staff too... For food yes they can add little bit salt and pepper as I felt it low... Tomato soup was the star of the day... Perfect taste nothing more and less... Pasta was nice but not baked 100% ... Drink I tried was nice as I like to try cocktails at different places... Good place with good food... Budget friendly dinner date idea...

Guelph ESM is the best of the bunch. Seafood fettuccini was delish as was the accompanying salad and soup. Great job by the staff++

Soup and Entree meal was great but the added on meatballs to the kids build your own pasta meal were dry and unpleasant on top of dry pasta. 50% Satisfaction

We were here last night for dinner. The first time my family of 5 has gone for dinner anywhere all together. If I could give them 6 out of 5 stars I would. The hostess forget her name, but she was wonderful brought us to our table.. and we had Liam as our server. I hope his boss sees this as he was the most patient and attentive server I think I’ve ever had. He was making friends with my kids, ironically having the same name as my one son. I made sure he had a great tip when we got the bill but everything about the experience was top shelf. Thank you east sides, you guys were amazing !! The food, service and experience were all incredible !

Fairly pricey with a smaller pasta portion so it is not worth unless you eat lots of the all you can eat soup and salad. Waiter was very good.

Was a very very busy night when we attended! None the less received exceptional service from Bailey our server! She was quick, polite excellent with our kids. Food was hot, consistent with my other visits & our family enjoyed was well worth the drive from out of town & the wait for a table due to being extremely busy. All staff I seen working seemed to be working together as a great team to keep dinner rush running smooth! Kudos to stone road east sides. Still one of my favourite places to go after over 25 years! Kid-friendliness: Kids well enjoyed and was very prompt which as a parent is much appreciated, kids get restless quickly!
