East Park Motel

Don't you love it when a small old hotel puts money back into the place to spruce it up a bit rather than running it into the ground? This is the case with this one. I had a spacious room with couch, kitchen, fridge, micro, sink, TV, new ceramic floors in the bath, and get this: power plugs where you actually need them! not hidden behind the bed. I've paid waaay more for a hotel and gotten way less. 5 stars in my book for the price. Nice folks too. Try the cheese shop and restaurant just up the street towards the hi way. awesome.

The people that are running it are doing a great job. Not only the remodeling but they have got rid of all the local bad element that take advantage of places like this.

Not to bad of a cheap stay, but for being a motel with long term service. for the month I stayed here I never once was asked if I need new towels, they never asked to clean my room or change my bedding. But they did inspect my room and when I had to leave in a hurry and didn't have time too clean my room before I left. They left me a note warning me if I don't keep clean they will kick me out with no refund. So at least I know next time I need a long term room I will go else where for sure.
