Super super nice spot to stop in Charlevoix and take in all the views! The wife and I got to see the draw bridge open and watch a number of boats go in and out to Lake Michigan! We also got to feed some rainbow trout and ducks which was random, but super cool! Lol. It's a great spot to stop and take some pics in between shopping and eating delicious food! Public restrooms were also available and clean! Thank you so much for having us Charlevoix! Restrooms: Restrooms down at the marina. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly. Picnic area: A multitude of areas to sit and have a picnic.
If there ever is a place in Michigan that makes me feel like I'm playing the game wrong, East Park is it. What a small but gorgeous park, surrounded by beautiful homes and full of vessels that make it clear that the people whom call this lake a home or vacation home have achieved a high level of success. And I commend them. Moreover, as we walked down docks to look at the boats, none of which have any chance of belonging to me ever, people were friendly. Some folks on one of the boats waved; others said 'hello' as we passed by with our heads on a swivel to not miss anything. It was great. And I think the City of Charlevoix and their residents deserve a thank you for their hospitality and politeness.

Beautiful view of Round lake. Great marina for boaters. Splash pad for children. Restrooms: Very nice clean.
This park offers an amazing view of Lake Michigan! It is well worth taking the time to visit!

A beautiful grassy park in the middle of down town, over looking the yacht basin Round Lake a nice place to be on a sunny day. A must see is the trout pond at the north end of the park next to the Harbor Master's office.
The fountain is so much fun for kids to play in and the fish pond is beautiful. You also get to look at all of the beautiful boats while you play.
Even when there aren't any special events at the park, it's a wonderful place to relax anytime of the year and watch the boats on the water and the people going by. Most times when we visit there's an art fair or music or just a lot of people relaxing. It's definitely a great place to stop and have your Kilwins Ice Cream and watch the boats there in the marina.
