Food was absolutely delicious and a great value for the very reasonable pricing. The staff was really friendly as well and the food just very delicious. Highly recommend if you are into asian cuisine.
Got take out through skip the dishes. It arrived in a timely manner and we really loved that it is packaged in compostable containers. We were missing one of the dishes we ordered, and one of the bubble teas was different from ordered. The flavours of the food was good, but the meat was extremely overcooked and tough. It tasted like food that had been reheated and didn't sit well after eating it. I really wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately the takeout experience was not positive. Maybe it was a one off and we will try again down the road.
Try Chicken Curry Rice on a snowy day and experience the thrilling, spicy and fantastic taste. The skill and service of the family who cooks with fresh ingredients are also the best.Food: 5/5
We ordered wantang Soup and chicken with rice. It was amazing. Absolutely I will be back next time.
We decided to give this place a shot because of the other great reviews, however, we were disappointed. We had pan fried rice noodles with chicken which had zero flavour - we tried adding salt and still nothing. they tasted like water. The sweet and sour pork, although flavourful, the pork was very dry and I could actually count exactly 8 small pieces of pork in the entire dish. We also had a veggie salad roll, which is the same price as a salad roll with protein. For the same price, they should give you two of them based on what is in it. Overall I’ll give them three stars because it was quick and they got the order correct but we won’t be coming back.
I went to this place because I saw it had 4.6 stars. I assume that those stars must be earned from the people who get take out, if they happen to get the order to the correct person. During my dine-in experience, there was 2-3 different times where the wrong person got the wrong order, and I was only there for 45 minutes. There was no one to seat me, no clean tables they were all covered with plates, after they cleaned my table the rest of the tables including the one beside me sat covered the whole time. It took 20 minutes to get my water, where I also got small plates cover in defined finger prints. At that point I was worried I may get food poisoning I did not get it. My appetizer came out the same time as my rice dish. I ate the appy and my rice dish looked like it was getting cold but couldn’t ask for my sweet and sour pork dish because they were still dealing with getting the take out orders sorted. I’m sure if I got to eat the rice dish with the sweet and sour pork that it would taste good. I didn’t like how I was given regular cutlery because I am Caucasian but everyone else dining in who was Asian got chopsticks. I think I should be asked what I would prefer. There was just a single family of three working, they looked like nice people but clearly needed to have hired two other people one in the kitchen and a server/table cleaner to meet the demands of the restaurant. It would have been nice to have music and a little fake candle or lantern on the table but that would be last of the suggestions. This place has a great potential because the food is good, but they need to hire help do that they can provide customer service.
Food is great and service is always on point. I prefer eating at EMW more than my own home because it’s delicious and they clearly followed all COVID protocols. The one unsatisfied party’s not one other party mentioned such issues? recent barrage of negative reviews is unauthentic. The staff already mentioned that masks are worn at all times at point when cooking and at this point, your salty behaviour is more harmful than someone not wearing their mask during a phone call. Creating a google account just to leave that a negative review harms small businesses who are already struggling to survive. Have an ounce of empathy and maybe we can all be a bit happier this pandemic.
Great Asian fusion restaurant with a consistent quality of food and service. This is a family run restaurant but their food has top notch quality. While it's not award-worthy, it does make for a great place for lunch. Their wings are especially good although we tended to prefer the salt and pepper portion more than the sweet and sour half. The food portions will also fill you up with a healthy balance of greens, carbs and protein. Pricing is fair and comparatively cheap when looking at all of the restaurants in that area. It's in a strip mall that gets relatively packed during peak lunch and dinner hours so you'll want to get there a bit earlier if you want good parking spots.
Taste - lemongrass chicken doesn't taste like traditional Vietnamese chicken. I expected a more intense lemongrass flavour. However, I found the sauce in the salad overpowering and excessive. Value - the portion size for the price was good lemongrass chicken on rice was about $8.50. Ambience - clean, reaaonably updated interior Service - friendly, delightful owner/chef.
Tasty, home-style Asian stir fry, inexpensive price! I was here for lunch, and the stir fry they served up was made with all fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned and delicious. All for under $10, a great value. I will be coming back soon!
