The worst pawn shop I have ever been to. Terrible attitudes. Disorganized. Smelly. I was browsing and heard an interaction with someone who is obviously struggling and staff had little compassion. Then said degrading remarks when they left. Shameful. should never make fun of someone in that state, let alone a customer. Will never be back!
A while ago my common in law partner and I have split up. He was supposed to move out in August but it did not happen yet. My ex is a hardcore alcoholic and pot head and broke and in July he started to bring stuff to the pawn shops. Also some of my personal belongings! I informed East Coast Pawn Stars in Stellarton about the situation and that he had brought stolen stuff to other pawn shops before. They promised to not take anything from him anymore. However today on the 12th of October they took another item from him and I do not know what to do now. I am extremely disappointed, that they do not care.
I was in the middle of the line of about 6 and was offering to sell a couple items. They asked me to wait until she waited on people pawning. I already waited 3 in line so that's not great service. I waited just like them.
Love this place. Great and friendly service, good prices and selections. Would recommend to others. :-
